Hip Hewing Hotel Wedding | Claire & Alex

I am not sure if there has ever been a sweeter couple to work with, and it wasn't just all the honey and doughnuts. Claire & Alex tied the knot at their home at an intimate morning ceremony in their backyard. The reception took place at the Nordic chic Hewing Hotel in the North Loop district of Minneapolis. Drawing inspiration from the hotel's decor the wedding was impeccably styled and full of unique textures and color combinations. Claire's dad makes honey so I incorporated bee elements like honeycomb patterned votives and beeswax wrapped vases as a nod to her family. (Of course guests took away a tiny honey jar as their parting favor!) After dinner, guests were in for a sweet surprise! A doughnut wall and cupcakes were the perfect end to the evening.
